The big pink building on Frankfort Ave. was home to the ice cream shop for 10 years before it closed in November.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A new Korean restaurant is expected to open next spring in the old Comfy Cow building on Frankfort Avenue.
The big pink building, located at 2221 Frankfort Avenue, was home to the popular ice cream shop for 10 years before it closed in November.
Now, CM Chicken is looking to take its place. The restaurant announced its opening on social media.
Specializing in Korean fried chicken, the new location will also serve Boba tea and shaved ice.
The franchise was first established in South Korea in 2009. It expanded into the United States in 2017 and currently owns nearly 50 locations across the nation.
An exact opening date is unknown at this time, however the restaurant said it plans to open in spring of 2024.
